About the Conference
Conference Venue
The conference will take place at Ultuna Campus of SLU, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, 6 km south of central Uppsala city.
Visiting address of "Undervisningshuset", the main building where the "Aula", the main auditorium is located, is Undervisningsplan 8. Registration and parallel sessions will take place in the main building.
NOTE!
Even if you have been at Ultuna before, and find your way, please check the map, because ordinary spots for parking and bus stops are moved or closed!

Getting there
Local buses number 12, 20 and 115 frequents Uppsala city from the Central Station - Ultuna campus. The journey takes about 15 min and you get off at “Centrala Ultuna”. The busses run frequently from early morning to late nights.
You can pay by cash on the bus. Bus tickets are SEK 30 purchased on the bus in cash. You can also by tickets from vending machines at the bus stop.
Taxis are also of course available in the City. Cost about SEK 145. If you take a taxi strait from Arlanda airport to the venue at Ultuna the fixed price is about SEK 435.

NOTE! The delegates are asked to make their own way to the venue on Day 1, 29 October and from the venue after the conference on day 2, 30 October.
Conference Busses Day 1, 29 October: Buses will leave at 17.30 for central Uppsala after the conference.
Day 2, 30 October: Buses will leave at 08.30 to the venue from Uppsala Concert and Congress Hall in the centre of Uppsala.
Conference dinner The conference dinner on Day 1 will be held at Norrlands nation by the river within walking distance from the hotels. See map PDF»

SEK 1 100. This fee will include all meals according to the programme.

Cancellation
Notification of cancellations must be sent in writing via e-mail or regular post to the conference secretariat. There is a cancellation fee of SEK 750. Cancellations will be accepted until October 1. If you have already paid we will refund all charges except for the non-refundable cancellation fee of SEK 750. We will not permit any refunds or fee reductions for cancellations received after October 1.
Change of Delegate
Substitutions of delegates can be made at any time for an additional charge of SEK 250. Please contact the conference secretariat if you wish to change delegate.
Changes to your Reservation of Accomodation If you need to change your reservation, please contact Academic Conferences by e-mail or fax. Late changes may incur charges.
Cancellation of Accomodation If you need to cancel your hotel reservation, please contact Academic Conferences as soon as possible but not later than 14 days prior to arrival. After that date, a cancellation fee equivalent to at least one night will be charged. Alternativt: We will not permit any refunds or fee reductions for cancellations received after 14 days prior to arrival.
How to get to the venue (from the hotel - Railway Station)
There will be a bus transfer from the hotel.
Force Majeure
The organisers are not liable for any claims for damages and/or losses if the entire conference has to be cancelled due to a force majeure incident.

The organisers are not liable for damages and/or losses of any kind which may be incurred by the conference delegates or by any other individuals accompanying them, both during the official activities as well as going to/from the congress. Delegates are responsible for their own safety and belongings.
Insurance and Vaccinations
The registration fee does not cover insurance for the delegates. The organisers recommend that delegates take out insurance in their home country to cover pre-journey cancellation for personal reasons and necessary insurance to cover accidents, medical expenses and loss of personal belongings during the visit. No vaccinations are needed when visiting Sweden.

Climate and Clothing
It is autumn in Sweden and Uppsala in October and the temperatures can vary from 0 to 10 C. The organizers suggest that you bring a warm jacket and an umbrella or raincoat.

Passport and Visas
Delegates are advised to contact the nearest embassy, consulate or travel agency for information about the passport and visa requirements from their country for entry to Sweden.
Local Currency
The Swedish monetary unit is the Swedish krona (SEK), divided into 100 öre. Major credit cards are accepted almost everywhere.
